About
A little context
I've spent the last four years as the sole designer on a three-platform regulated healthcare workforce system — working closely with engineers, navigating shifting priorities, and building frameworks that changed how the team made decisions, not just how the product looked. That's meant pushing back on features that weren't working, designing for real constraints, and helping teams make better decisions over time.
I listen more than I speak. In practice that means I'm absorbing context, mapping relationships, and forming a point of view before I open my mouth — so when I do say something, it tends to matter. People who've worked with me closely describe it as a kind of quiet reliability: I show up, I put my head down, and I do what needs to be done. When things get chaotic I go quiet, ask clarifying questions, and work the problem.
I'm at my best in environments where complexity is unavoidable and the work requires real judgment — not just execution. I work best close to engineers, close to PMs, and close to users — in environments where design has a real seat at the table. I love talking things through with others, especially in early-stage problem framing where brainstorming is still the right tool. I'm drawn to small, focused teams where the stakes are real and the collaboration is genuine.
I'm looking for senior product design roles at product companies, agencies, and consultancies — on teams where the work is genuinely complex and the collaboration is real. Remote or hybrid.
From the Team
“Elizabeth actively sought direct user feedback, analyzed what worked and what didn't, and presented well-researched solutions to improve the product. She was proactive and unafraid to ask the right questions — which allowed projects to move forward smoothly and prevented costly misunderstandings.”
— Heather, Project Manager, True Helix
“She 'just understood' things like spacing and layout in a way that I really miss. Discussing and revising designs with her was a really smooth and pleasant experience.”
— Chris, Engineer, True Helix
“She was very proactive with research and user feedback. When there was a debate about a design decision, she could come up with articles that backed up a certain opinion with data. And I was really impressed with her when she showed us surveys of caregivers.”
— Chris, Engineer, True Helix
“Her design system was extremely helpful with development and making everything consistent. She was also quick to make changes and keep that document updated as things changed.”
— Nick, Engineer, True Helix
